Some other basic active ingredients that Madis uses to its products are:

  • Carrot oil. It is a natural antioxidant, ideal for protection from UV radiation and a natural source for Vitamin A.
  • Coconut oil. It is ideal to speed tanning process keeping skin’s moisture and softness.
  • Calamine. It naturally soothes sunburn helping to the treatment of itching, rashes.
  • Cucumber extract. It is ideal to refresh skin and restore skin’s moisture balance.
  • Honey extract. Smoothes skin and can increase capillary blood circulation and ameliorates the appearance of skin.
  • Wheat extract. Proteins and fibres enriched extract ideal to nourish, moisturize and soothe skin.
  • Chamomile extract. Enriched with essential oils it has calming, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Yoghurt extract. It is a natural moisturizer with nourishing and firming properties.
  • Peach extract. Enriched with proteins, tannins and fibres it has naturally antioxidant, bactericidal, astringent and soothing properties.
  • Calendula extract. Anti-inflammatory, soothing and anti-bacterial are its main and most significant properties

  • Green Tea. Contains high levels of tannins and flavonoids and has anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and radical scavenging (or antioxidant and antiageing) properties.
  • Avocado. Avocado oil contains phytosterols and vitamins and offers excellent fatting and hydrating properties for skin and hair.
  • Magnolia. Contains flavonoids, alkaloids and lignants. Magnolia extracts care the skin and prevent “UV-induced stress”. It has anti-irritant and anti-bacterial properties.
  • Ginger. It has antiphlogistic and bacteriostatic properties. Ginger extracts are said to increase the circulation due to the spicy ingredients and regulate moisturisation due to its content of polysaccharides and amino acids.

  • Purple Orchid. It is the symbol of perfection. It contains starch, proteins and sugars that offer a pleasant soothing and moisturising feeling on the skin.
  • Pomegranade. Rich in tannins, especially C and B-type and minerals. It has astringent properties, supports and protects the skin and hair against UV damage by free radicals.
